About the Main Screen

KVAL 994-X Operation Manual

Door Spec Group

Set the parameters for the door in the

Door Spec

group.

These settings include:

• Shows the preset setting that is running.
• Enter a door thickness.
• Choose door thickness settings.
• Select Door Length.
• Load Six Shooter or Eight Shooter Hoppers.

Hinge Spec Group

Set the parameters for the hinges in the

Hinge Spec

group. The settings include:

• Router speed adjustment (real time

adjust).

• Choose pre-drill patterns.
• Enable or disable Hinge 2.
• Select and change hinge parameters
• Enable or disable through hinge cuts.
•

True Hinge Override

: Click to display an input box to enter the ‘true dimensions’ of

hinge stock. The machine will adjust to deliver a cut mirroring the input data.

You can select

Pre-Drill

buttons to down load pre-drill parameters or turn off this func

tion. To set Pre-Drill parameters,

see “About the Pre-Drill Screen” on page 2-19.

This section also contains the file list window, which displays files that are available to

use.

Note

: To create a square cut for the hinge, enter the number zero in the

Radius

box.
