As far as possible, start cooking at the highest setting and continue at a
smaller setting.

zone

Safety functions
■
If two or more sensor keys are pressed at the same time – e.g. when a
pan is mistakenly put onto a sensor key – no function is activated. After
10 seconds the appliance switches off automatically.
Exception:
– Switching off the cooking zones
■
If you continue to press a sensor key after having set the highest cooking
setting, the electronics switch off automatically after 10 seconds.
■
If one or more keys are pressed for more than 10 seconds, the electronics
switch off completely.
■
The appliance does not automatically switch on again after a power failure.
The sensor-lock ist no longer active.
■
The hob is switched off if the electronics become overheated (see Notes on
use)
Deep-fat frying with the wok
Because of its deep, rounded form the wok is suitable for deep-fat frying of
smaller amounts in little fat.
Please observe the following:
This induction cooking zone offers – particularly in the power
mode – full power and a rapid reaction time. Watch the fat: It
can quickly overheat. If it starts to develop smoke it is already too
hot; immediately switch off the hob and let the fat cool down.
You can use a wooden spoon to estimate the temperature of the
fat: Hold the spoon into the hot fat. If small bubbles well up the
temperature is optimal for deep-fat frying. If there are no bubbles
it is not hot enough yet.
Use of the wok
F
Carefully install the wok into the hob. Careless handling can damage the
handle or break it on the glass ceramic surface.
F
Do not shake the wok if it is sitting in the hob. You could scratch the
glass ceramic or damage the handle.
