We recommend storing the machine without removing it from its original packaging,
in order to allow up to a maximum of three packages to be stacked one on top of the
other.
If the machine is removed from its original packaging it is and not used for long
periods the wheels and the disk must be raised from the ground. Set the machine on
three blocks at least 50mm high, making sure that the base is supported by them.
Store the machine in a dry place. Storage in damp conditions will results in damage
to the machine.
Storage temperature from -20°C to 50°C.
Store the machine in a dry, safe place, out of the reach of children.
TRANSPORTING AND HANDLING OF THE MACHINE
TRANSPORT BY ONE PERSON
1.
Check that the mains lead is disconnected from the main supply and from
the machine.
2.
Disconnect the motor power supply plug from the bottom of the box fixed to
the handle (release the safety mechanism and unplug).
3.
Protect the sanding disk with an abrasive pad and make sure that the
abrasive disk screw were well tightened.
4.
During transport by vehicle always check that the sander is well secured and
cannot move.
5.
Since the machine is heavy, take care when lifting or transporting it.
TRANSPORT BY CASE
A practical case equipped with wheels is available in order to make the
transporting of the machine by one person easier:
1.
Place the machine in the case into the proper sites with the relative
dismantled accessories (dust and sanding disk).
2.
Close the case and fasten the cover with the clips.
3.
Grip the outer handle of the case and lift it using the wheels as pivot.
4.
Pull the case to the working area.
