Danger: If the application requires height adjustment to be made,
the hydraulic cylinder must be installed with a safe assistance
device intended for this purpose. Never support the pressure pad
side.
5. transportation, assembly and installation
5.1. transportation
Caution: Never carry hydraulic components by their hoses or joint
connections. Always use a safe transportation method.
5.2. assembly
All hydraulic cylinders are delivered ready for installation. The
pressure pads of the hydraulic cylinder are exchangeable. Please
refer to the technical data for your cylinder regarding the thread.
You can get the corresponding replacement pressure pads as
accessories.
5.3. installation
Use a pump with a maximum pressure of 700 bar, equipped with
a pressure gauge, for the installation of the hydraulic system of
the cylinder. Otherwise, it is mandatory that you install a pressure
gauge in the system.

Remove the dust caps from the connector end of the cylin-
der and from the hydraulic hose.

If the hydraulic hose is not already mounted on the pump,
connect it to the pump. Connect one side of the hydraulic
hose to the hydraulic pump by inserting the hydraulic
hose connector into the opening of the hydraulic pump
connection and tightening the threaded sleeve on the hy-
draulic pump connection to the hydraulic hose connection
by turning the threaded sleeve. If you feel that you need
to use pliers, a wrench or another tool for this process,
disassemble the hose and repeat the process according to
the instructions above. The hose is mounted correctly if the
union nut is hand-tightened and the hose cannot be moved
by pulling or shaking it.
