8. Instructions for work

8.1

Place the machine in working 

position

From the transport position:

- Perform safety shutdown procedure.

- Disengage the transport locks at the tractor for 
both the rake wheels and the rake arms. Rotate the 
lock handles until they stop and are aligned with the 
hydraulic hoses as shown.

- Activate tractor hydraulics and fold the rake arms 
outward to the desired raking width. The hydraulic 
hoses for controlling the rake arm position will be 
marked with blue bands.

- Activate tractor hydraulics to lower the rake wheels 
until the lift cylinder rods stop pushing. The hydraulic 
hoses for controlling the rake wheel position will be 
marked with orange bands.

The machine is in working position.

Before placing the machine in working
position:

- Check that nobody is within the machine
pivoting area.

- If there is someone, make sure the person
moves away.
