7. Instructions for transport
7.1
Place the machine in transport
position
From the working position:
- Activate tractor hydraulics and raise the rake
wheels until they stop. The hydraulic hoses for
controlling the rake wheel position will be marked
with orange bands.
- Activate tractor hydraulics and fold the rake arms
inward until they stop. The hydraulic hoses for
controlling the rake arm position will be marked with
blue bands.
- Perform safety shutdown procedure.
- Engage the transport locks at the tractor for both
the rake wheels and the rake arms. Rotate the lock
handles until they stop and cross the hydraulic
hoses (as shown).
- Make sure that all safety signs and reflectors are
installed, clean and visible.
- Check safety chain for proper installation.
The machine is in transport position.
Before placing the machine into transport
position:
- Wait until the rotating parts have come to a
complete stop.
- Check that nobody is located in the machine
pivoting area. If there is someone, make sure
the person moves away.
Do not operate tractor hydraulics while in
transport position.
