Preparation at the field
Ground adaptation
adjustment
The ground adaptation can only be set at machines with the
oscillating and the floating hitch frame.
Oscillating hitch
frame
> Place the machine fully horizontal.
> Measure distance (A), between the front of the pipe and the front
of the spring. Factory setting = 120 mm.
> Check if the ground adaptation mechanism is unlocked. Otherwise
place the handle (2) in such a position that the locking pin (3) is in
its upper position.
> In case the machine cannot tilt backwards smoothly, decrease
distance (A) by rotating bolt (1) clockwise. The spring (4) will be
pressurised.
> In case the machine is not stable enough or moves too smoothly,
increase the distance (A) by rotating bolt (1) counterclockwise. The
spring (4) will be released.
Floating hitch frame
> Place the machine fully horizontal.
> Measure distance (A), between the front of the pipe (3) and the end
of the spring (2). Factory setting = 40 mm.
> Check if the ground adaptation mechanism is unlocked. Otherwise
place the handle (4) in such a position that the locking pin is in its
upper position.
> In case the machine cannot tilt backwards smoothly, increase
distance (A) by rotating bolt (1) counterclockwise. The spring (4)
will be released.
> In case the machine is not stable enough or moves too smoothly,
decrease the distance (A) by rotating bolt (1) clockwise. The spring
(4) will be pressurised
Crop divider [+]
For optimal spreading results, an optional crop divider can be
mounted.
»Optional equipment«, see page 68.
> Before start operating, use the lever (1) to set the crop divider in
the upper position.
> Set the crop divider in a lower position if the swath is too narrow.
N
OTE
Always use the highest possible setting of the crop divdider to
minimise the power consumption.
