INSTRUCTIONS FOR FITTING ROTORS IN THE HOPPER
It is most important that the rotors be fitted correctly in the hopper.
Use the following procedure:
∗
Assemble all parts on the hexagonal shaft in the order given in Diagram 17
WARNING !!!
a) Orientation of rotors (Diagram 15)
All teeth tips are to point towards the front of the seed drill.
b) At the position with the milled portion downwards (Diagram 16)
The milled portion is in the correct position when marks A and B are at top
dead centre.
∗
Insert the assembly into the micro-granulator body.
∗
Once the centre rotor is in the centre of the hopper, push the left hand ring, item 2
to the right and tighten its securing screw, item 1.
Insert a 0.2 mm feeler gauge between each rotor and the preceding ring.
Push the right hand ring, item 12 to the left.
Tighten all rings checking each time that milled portions A or B are indeed
uppermost.
Check that all rotors rotate freely by turning the hexagonal shaft by hand.
Check also that the resulting play does not exceed 0.2 mm.
Repeat the entire setting procedure if necessary.
Never use degreasing products or lubricants in a micro-granulator.
