Putting the machine in headland turn
position
The machine is placed from working position into
headland turn position by means of the rotor arm lift
cylinders controled as from a tractor's hydraulic outlet.
- Use the headland turn position when crossing over an
already formed windrow.
From the working position:
- Activate single acting valve that pressurizes the rotor
arm lift cylinders to place the machine in headland
turn position.
The machine is in headland turn position.
Adjustment
Windrow clearance height
When switching to the headland turn position, the
clearance height can be adjusted to adapt to the working
conditions.
When optional equipment is used, follow
specific procedures mentioned in the related
section:
• Optional equipment / Flow divider.
Activate single acting valve that pressurizes
the rotor lift cylinders until rotor arms fully
stop moving.
The device also enables adjusting the
synchronization of the rotor arm raising.
