ASSEMBLY
1. MOUNTING THE WHEELS AND THE WHEEL AXLES (figure A and photo B)
Slide the cylindrical hub protectors (01) onto axles (N) until they seat on the axles' shoulders. Then slide the conical
grey protectors (02) onto the axles with the conical side facing the wheel bearing locations. The grey protecting plugs
are seated tightly on the spindle’s shoulders. Drive them in place using a driver and apply a blow with a hammer.
Fill wheel caps (Q) with grease. Also grease the space between both bearings located inside the rims. Install
the 2 wheels (L) on axles (N). Insert conical spring washer (O) and fit low self locking nut (P) (M 16). Tighten to
12 daNm / 89 ft.lbs. Fit wheel caps (Q) in place (figure A).
Make sure to install the conical washers (O) with the convex side against the nut (P).
Position the undercarriage so that the height adjustment crank handles (R) are directed towards the rear, remove
the protective screw plugs, insert undercarriage bolts into the rotor axles flanges (S) and secure in place using self
locking nuts (U) (tighten to 28 daNm - 207 ft.lbs) (photo B).
Note: To ensure accurate rotor levelling, shims (V) may have been wired to the undercarriage mounting plates at
the factory. It is important that these shims (V) are kept in their original location when assembling the
undercarriages (T) to the rotor axles (S) (photo B).
