TRANSPORT
To fold the GA 3501 SUPER from working position
to transport position (photo 32), proceed as follows :
- Fold safety guards back (see photo 9, page 12) and
lock them in place with spring cotter (U) (photo 33).
- Disconnect tine arms (F) from their supports, place
them into their racks (R) and secure them in place
with linch pins (G) (photo 34).
- Release swath screen (D), position it nearest to the
rotor and lock it in this position with handle (P) (photo
27, page 20).
IN TRANSPORT AND DURING
WORK, THE PARKING STAND
MUST ALWAYS BE FOLDED UP
IN THE HORIZONTAL POSI-
TION.
NEVER LET THE ROTORS
ROTATE WHEN THE MACHINE
IS IN TRANSPORT POSITION
DUE TO RISKS OF ACCIDENT.
WHEN ON A PUBLIC HIGHWAY,
THE MACHINE MUST ALWAYS
BE MOUNTED BEHIND THE
TRACTOR (photo 32).
