Preparing the tractor

The tractor PTO must rotate at a speed of 1000 min
-1
.
The tractor must be equipped with:
- 1 single acting valve with float position.
- 1 standard ISO 5676 female plug.
Additional valve
If the tractor has no additional single acting valve with
float position:
- Install a 3 way valve similar to the one used to adjust
the pressure in the hydro-pneumatic accumulators
(Part no. K7000320).
Adjustment:
- Couple the machine to the tractor.
- Rotate the 3 way valve so that oil will be directed to the
tractor front linkage cylinders rather than to the
machine lift cylinders.
- Adjust the tractor's front lift linkage height (see
section: Frame height and check chains).
- Rotate the 3 way valve so that oil is directed to the
machine lift cylinders rather than to the tractor front
linkage cylinders.
For tractors fitted with a front lift linkage with
double acting cylinders, these must be set in
detented float position to allow the lift
linkage to travel up and down at will.
Modification work to the tractor's hydraulics
must be undertaken by an authorized
specialist.
This operation must be carried out by an
authorized specialist.
After adjustment, the mowing unit lift cylinders
are controlled by the directional control valves of
the tractor's cylinders.
