Adjusting Fan Drive Belt Tension
To avoid personal injury:
A
Be sure to stop the engine and remove the key
before checking belt tension.
If the fan drive belt becomes loose, the engine may
overheat. To adjust, loosen bolts and move the alternator
outward to tighten the belt. After adjustment, securely
tighten the bolts.
Moderate belt tension:
The belt should deflect approx. 10 mm (0.4 in.) when the
center of the belt is depressed with finger pressure of 98N
(10kgf, 22 lbs).

Adjusting Parking Brake
To avoid personal injury:
A
Park the machine on a firm and level surface.
A
Stop the engine and chock the wheels before
checking or adjusting.
A
Wrong adjustment may cause machine damage.

Check brake spring
1. Place the motion control levers to the "NEUTRAL
LOCK" position.
2. Be sure to chock the rear wheels.
3. Apply the parking brake to the lock position.
4. Check the length of the brake springs on both sides.
5. Release the parking brake completely.
6. Hold the brake rod lightly.
7. Check the brake spring play.
