4WD Lever
To avoid serious injury:
A
Do not engage the front wheel drive when
traveling at road speed.
A
When driving on icy, wet or loose surfaces,
make sure the vehicle is correctly ballasted to
avoid skidding and loss of steering control.
Operate at reduced speed and engage front
wheel drive.
A
An accident may occur if the vehicle is
suddenly braked, such as by heavy towed
loads shifting forward causing loss of control.
A
The braking characteristics are different
between 2 and 4 wheel drive. Be aware of the
difference and use carefully.
A
Use the lever to engage the front wheels with the
vehicle stopped. Shift the lever to "4WD" to engage the
front wheel drive.
When the lever is in "4WD" position, the 4WD indicator
comes on.
A
Tires will wear quickly if front wheel drive is engaged
on paved roads.

Front wheel drive is effective for the following
jobs:
1. When greater pulling force is needed, such as working
in a wet field, when pulling a trailer, or when working
with a front-end blade.
2. When working in sandy soil.

Parking Brake Lever
To release the parking brake, depress the brake pedal,
push release button and push up parking brake lever.
Depressing the brake pedal makes release force smaller.
Make sure that indicator in the Easy Checker(TM) goes
off.

8. Unlock the parking brake and start
slowly.
