2. Measure the differential side gear (3) boss O.D., and calculate

the clearance.

3. Measure the 42T gear (1) bore I.D..
4. Measure the differential side gear (2) boss O.D., and calculate

the clearance.

5. If the clearance exceeds the allowable limit, replace faulty parts.
