Electrohydraulic thrusters are compact systems sealed externally that mainly consist of an electric
motor and a hydraulic unit. When turned on the electric motor (component 2) in the lower section of
the housing is driving the pump wheel (component 4) of the hydraulic pump on top. The
hydrodynamic pressure generated takes effect on a piston (component 7) extending the piston rod
(component 8) to the end-of-stroke position.
