Danger of accidents from blocked rear wheels if reverse gear is disengaged while the vehicle is rolling.

To disengage reverse gear, it is important that you stop the vehicle first.

To disengage reverse gear, it is important that you stop the vehicle first.

Activate the clutch, stop the vehicle and let the engine run at idling speed.

Press the shift lever up until 1st gear engages.

The reverse gear release lever no longer needs to be activated.

Slowly release the clutch lever while carefully depressing the accelerator or shifting into neutral.

Braking

If you brake too hard, the wheels can lock. When the front wheels lock, the vehicle can no longer be steered.

Adapt your braking to the traffic situation and the road conditions.

Reduced braking efficiency caused by spongy pressure point of front or rear brake.
