Adjust the shock absorber
Use the nuts (1) and (2) to adjust the
rear shock. Loosen the locknut (1) and
adjust with the help of the nut (2) to ad
-
just the preload of the shock absorber.
Secure the damper then again with the
locknut (1).

BATTERY
This model is equipped with a sealedty-
pe (MF) battery, which does not require
any maintenance. There is no need to
check the electrolyte or to add distilled
water.

Tightening torque of the collor nut
(1): 70 Nm
SHOCK ABSORBER
Press the rear of the vehicle down to
test the function of the rear damper.
Make sure that no pressure is exerted
on the exhaust in order not to damage
it.
The shock absorber can be adjusted
to suit the weight of the driver and the
load.

WARNING
• Do not remove the battery vent seal,
this can be dangerous, the battery
permanently damaged.
• Battery acid is poisonous and dan-
gerous, it contains sulfuric acid and
leads to dangerous burns.
• Avoid skin, eye and clothing contac.
Protect your eyes always when wor-
king near the battery.
• Upon contact with the battery aicd,
make immediate FIRST AID.
• If skin or eye contact with battery
acid, rinse the affected areas with
plenty of water.
• When accidentally swallowed batte-
ry acid drink large amounts of water.
• In both cases, as soon as possible,
see a doctor.
• Batteries develop explosive hydro-
gen gas. Keep open flames, smo
-
king materials away from the battery
and make sure there is adequate
ventilation when you charge a bat-
tery indoors.
