N.B.: Air may enter the hydraulic system, adversely affecting the performance of the jack.
Purge the hydraulic system following the steps described below (Diagram 6).
1. Remove the upper cover of the jack.
2. Undo the screw half a turn.
3. Close the release valve
4. Actuate the air pump by simultaneously tightening and
loosening the screw.
5. Tighten the screw when the piston begins to rise.
Check that the piston has reached its maximum lifting height.
Cleaning the air filter:
1. Remove the air filter (#10-22) regularly; it is located in the air valve body (see Diagram 7).
Wash the air filter with a solvent, then dry is with compressed air, making sure there is no remaining dirt.
2. Regularly remove the air filter from the screw as shown in diagram 8.
Wash and dry the filter as shown in the section below.
Storage:
When storing, make sure the piston is completely retracted.
Do not store the hydro-pneumatic jack outdoors. Always store it indoors in a clean dry place.
When starting up, remove the cap of the oil reservoir air inlet screw. The cap must be used for transport to
prevent oil leaks.
