To set pre-fixed dialing number:
The pre-fixed dialing number will be
dialed automatically before dial a
number. Use
/
to toggle pre-fixed
dialing On / Off. If pre-fixed dialing is
turned off, the display returns to the
previous menu. If pre-fixed dialing is
turned on, you will be prompted to enter
the pre-fixed number set. Press
MENU
to save and exit.
To set dial mode:
There are 2 dial modes: TONE and
PULSE dials. Select PULSE dial if your
area does not support TONE dial. Use
/
to toggle TONE to PULSE dial
mode.
NOTE:
Temporary switch to tone dial mode: If pulse dial mode is default, pressing
*
key before enter the numbers will change the pulse-dial mode to tone dial mode.
The handset will change back to pulse dial mode after the call ended.
To set flash time:
Use Flash feature put the current call on
hold and switch to a call waiting. Use
/
to select a flash time (100ms, 270ms,
300ms or 600ms). If you are not sure
which one is required by your local
telephone company, choose the 600ms.
Press
MENU
to save the selection.
To set programmable handset name:
Giving a handset a name is a best choice
when you have a multi room house or
multi users. It can be living room, kitchen,
library, and sun room for a multi room
house. It also can be John, Ryan, Sue,
and Sam if there are several users. Use
table 1.1 to enter a name at prompt.
Press
MENU
to save. The handset name
will be displayed.
