5.4 Select baling pressure
After each use you must bleed the air from the floor
conveyor pressure cylinders.
To adjust the baling pressure, the shut-off tap (2) is
placed in the position shown.
A pressure range between 50 -160 bar is intended for
adjustment of the baling pressure.
The following steps should be followed when adjusting
the baling pressure:
• Release the rotation lock (3).
• Turn the hand wheel (4) as far as possible in the
clockwise direction.
• Open the round baler tailgate fully. (This pressurises
the round baler's hydraulic system. The pressure
gauge indicator (1) should remain stationary at the
maximum pressure of 160 bar.)
• Close the tailgate.
(towing hydraulics set to “lower”)
• Slowly rotate the hand wheel counterclockwise until
the pressure gauge indicator points to the desired
baling pressure.
• Reset the rotation lock.

5.5 Adjusting baling diameter
Medium
Baling diameter is preselected using the adjusting
segment located behind the front right guard and is set
from inside the twine box via the wing nut (2) on the
righthand side.
Baling diameter preset:
• Switch on the electric starter using the ON/OFF
switch
• Manually raise the baling pressure indicators (1) to the
desired position.
• Loosen the wing nut (2) in the twine box and move the
bolt with wing nut in the slot. When the preset bale
diameter is reached the indicator lights go out and the
horn of the electric starter sounds.
• Tighten the fly nut inside the twine box.
Do not preselect the baling diameter in
automatic mode.
