Adjusting the locking device for individual blades (response threshold)

The locking device for individual blades prevents the cutters from being damaged by foreign
objects. The locking device for individual blades is optimally adjusted before the unit leaves the
factory (standard value A=0-2mm). Should a separate setting be necessary in particular cases,
the response threshold can be increased or reduced by swivelling the rear half of the blade bar
(1).
To do this:
•
Loosen the screws (2) slightly
•
Loosen the screw (3) slightly (pivot point)
•
Swivelling the rear half of the blade bar increases or reduces the response threshold.
Increasing measurement A = stronger response threshold
Reducing measurement A = weaker response threshold

Note
When the response threshold has been adjusted, the inclination of the blade
bar (see chapter "Setting inclination of the blade bar") and the right cylinder
for the locking pin (see chapter "Adjusting the right cylinder for the locking
pin") must be checked and, if required, re-adjusted.
