Superstructure opera-
tion

6.1

Adjusting the front exten-
sion

The trailer can be extended to accommod-
ate different load combinations and con-
tainers. The front extension is equipped
with a mechanical locking device and can
be locked in two positions.

It needs to be operated without containers
loaded.

6.1.1

Pulling out the front extension

► Park the trailer on level ground.

► Apply the parking brake on the trailer

(see "5.6.2 Parking brake", pg. 31)

► Secure the trailer against rolling away

(see "5.1 Using wheel chocks", pg. 20)

Pushing in the front extension

► Park the trailer on level ground.

► Apply the parking brake on the trailer
