Regulating direction of travel  

 

For “main chassis steered” version 

 

If a machine is hinged, make certain that the machine is driving straight ahead. On a level 

street, the machine must run in the centre behind the tractor. 
The steering linkage must be readjusted if the machine runs diagonally to the tractor. 

 

Tasks on the steering may only be performed by service technicians (dealers).

If the swather is not running in the centre behind 

the tractor on a level street, this can be 

controlled by adjusting the transverse suspension arms (1). 

•  Loosen the counter nut (2). 
•  Adjusting transverse suspension arm: 

Steering rod shorter => directs machine further 

to the left 

Steering rod longer => directs machine further to the right 

•  Tighten counter nut (2).
