Additional safety regulations for
rotary hammers
Your tool will be warm when working, this
is normal. Accessories and metal plates can
become very hot.
A
lways check walls, floors and ceilings for
hidden power cables and pipes.
Do not use excessive pressure, but instead
select an appropriate speed. Excessive
pressure will not increase efficiency, and may
damage your appliance.
Set the rotation direction switch to its central
position when the tool is not in use to avoid
accidental operation.
D
o not place the tool in or near fire, on stoves
or other high temperature locations.
Do not place the tool in microwave ovens,
high-pressure containers or on induction
cookware.
W
atch out for the initial torque reaction of
the tool upon jamming the drill bit. Switch off
the power tool immediately upon jamming
the drill bit. Watch out forhigh reactive torque
which may result in kick-back.The drill bit will
block if the power tool is overloaded or if the
bit jams into the material.
A
lways switch the tool off prior to leaving it
down.
Fully unwind cable drum extensions to avoid
potential overheating. When an extension
cable is required, you must ensure that it has
the right ampere rating for your power tool
and is in safe electrical condition.
Never use your hands to remove sawdust,
chips or waste close by the bit. Rags, cloths,
cord, string and the like should never be left
around the work area.
If you are interrupted when operating the
tool, complete the process and switch off
before looking up.

eriodically check that all nuts, bolts and oth

er fixings are properly
tightened. If in doubt,
do not plug in the tool.
Using a power source with a voltage less than
the nameplate rating is harmful to the motor.
The tool must be used only for its prescribed
purpose. Any use other than those men

case of misuse. The user and not the man

ufacturer shall be liable for any damage or
injury resulting from such cases of misuse. To
use this tool properly, you must observe the
