THIS HEATING APPLIANCE CONFORMS TO NATIONAL SAFETY STANDARDS AND HAS BEEN TESTED
BY IMQ PRIMACONTROL TESTING SERVICES OF MILAN (ITALY).
The pellet stove requires electrical bonding to earth (ground) pursuant to applicable local stan-
dards; if no applicable standards exist, comply with the national electrical safety standards.
Install the heating appliance on a floor with a sufficient load capacity. If the existing floor
structure will not support the weight of the heating appliance, apply proper engineering
solutions (e.g. a load distribution base plate).
The heating appliance must be installed to provide unobstructed access for maintenance
and cleaning and to the flue vent adapter and the flue vent duct.
GENERAL INSTALLATION INFORMATION
All installation and servicing activities shall be completed by a competent installer or technical service
personnel. The pellet stove requires a pre-commissioning inspection before the first use. Have the
pellet stove serviced at least once a year. The pellet stove can be cleaned more frequently if it aspirates
dirt and dust from rugs, carpets, bedlinen, etc. Keep the control modules, the hearth, and the air ducts
clean. Improper installation and/or maintenance of the pellet stove may result in operating hazards
leading to fire, explosion, damage to property, injury, or death.
UNPACKING AND INSTALLING FOR THE FIRST TIME
Inspect the heating appliance for transport damage immediately upon receiving. If transport damage
is found, report it immediately. Do this inspection in witness of the forwarder or the installer.
The user receives the pellet stove fully assembled, configured and ready for connection to the building
services. Should you have any problems, read the component installation list of the pellet stove.
If any of the components is missing or damaged, contact our technical support department or the
customer support department. This pellet stove is delivered complete with the following components:
The pellet stove shall be installed pursuant to applicable local standards. Your local reseller may help
you determine the criteria of safe and legal installation of your pellet stove
in your legal jurisdiction. You can also consult your local building inspection authority or another com-
petent official body to determine which regulations apply to your location of operation of the pellet
stove.
If no local regulations exist for your pellet stove, have it installed in compliance with the applicable
national standards.
Do not start or operate the pellet stove if the front glass pane is removed, cracked or broken. Have the
front glass pane replaced by competent technical service personnel. The front glass pane shall only
be removed for routine inspection of the pellet stove. Handle the front glass pane with extreme care.
Never operate the pellet stove is any of its parts is submerged in water or has been flooded. Immedi-
ately contact competent technical service personnel to have your pellet stove inspected and its con-
trols replaced if flooded.
CAUTION: Before servicing the controls of the pellet stove, all power and control wires must be labelled
to assure proper reconnection. Improper electrical connections may result in malfunctions or operat-
ing hazards. Test the pellet stove controls for proper operation after every maintenance.
