You can operate the
VS-3232DVI
remotely via the RS-232 interface if the distance
between the unit and controller is less than 25m (80ft). If the distance is greater
than 25m, use either an Ethernet connection via a LAN (see
Section 6.2
The method of connecting to the RS-232 port on the
VS-3232DVI
depends on the
gender of the 9-pin D-sub connector on your device. Verify whether your
VS-3232DVI
has a male or female 9-pin D-sub connector:
