5 Connecting Your VM-80HP 1:8 Stereo Headphone Distributor
To connect the
VM-80HP
, as illustrated in the example in
Figure 2
, do the
following:
1. Connect an audio source (for example, a stereo audio source) to the INPUT
6.5mm phone socket connector.
2. Connect the OUT 6.5mm phone sockets to up to 8 acceptors, as follows

Connect the OUT 1 connector to an audio acceptor (for example,
headphones)
:
Connect the OUT 8 connector to an audio acceptor (for example,
speakers)
3. Connect the 12V DC power adapter to the power socket and connect the
adapter to the mains electricity (not shown in
Figure 2
).
Set the LEVEL CONTROL potentiometers for each output as required.
