7.5 Vertical Terminations
IMPORTANT: The vertical vent heat shield must be installed for every
type of venting application. Refer to 7.8 on page 30.
NOTE: Attic insulation shields may be insulated using unfaced
insulation products listed as non-combustible per ASTM E 136.
