Preparation:
Separate the eggs . Beat whites until moderately stiff, set
aside.
Mix butter with sugar, vanilla sugar and egg yolk until smooth.
Alternatively add flour/baking powder and milk. Fold egg
whites into the mixture.
To add additional flavor, add less milk and 1 table spoon
of vanilla or rum extract. However, be careful when adding
liquids, as batter should not be too thin.
Bake waffles following the above instructions.
Dust with icing sugar before serving.
Broiling
Perfect for broiling steaks, chops, Panini, etc.
1. Follow steps 1 – 4 as described under Toasting
Sandwiches and make sure that you have applied some
butter or oil to the grill plates (5c).
2. Place the foods to be grilled onto the grill plates (5c).
3. close the lid (1), do
not lock the fastener (4).
4. Grill the foods to your liking and follow steps 8 – 10 as
described under Toasting Sandwiches.
To turn the appliance properly off the power plug (7)
must be
disconnected from the mains after each use.
During operation, an integrated thermostat switches the
appliance on and off to ensure a constant temperature. This
is indicated by the green indicator light (2) cycling on and off.
Cleaning and Care
Due to hygienic reasons clean your Sandwich Maker 3 in
1 best after each use, and remove any food residues. Not
doing so could possibly result in a hazardous situation.
