OVERHEATING SYSTEM

This appliance has a device to prevent overheating: if the temperature exceeds a certain value, it will switch off the
appliance automatically. Turn off the main switch, unplug the appliance, make sure the air outlet grill and the heating
element are free of dust, lint or similar. Let the appliance cool down (it takes about 15 minutes). Connect the plug to the
outlet, turn on the main switch, select the desired functions. In case of doubts or if it doesn’t work, contact qualified
professional personnel.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

WARNING: before cleaning, switch the appliance off, unplug it and wait for it to cool down.

- Check periodically that the grill is not blocked by lint or hair: in his case, use a little brush or the vacuum
cleaner to remove it, paying attention to not damage any part.
- To clean the main body and the glass, use a soft, slightly damp cloth; do not use metal sponges or abra-
sive products. Especially for the glass, it is recommended to use only products specifically  designed for
cleaning glass.
- When the heater is not used for a long time, cover it and store it in a dry place. It is recommended to
store it in its original box to protect it from dust and moisture.
- To replace the cord and the lamp that produces the flame effect you need a special tool: contact specia-
lized personal for any replacement.
- If you decide to stop using the appliance, you have to make it unusable by cutting the power cord (first
make sure you removed the plug from the outlet). Also make harmless the parts that could be dangerous
for children.

- Make sure the cord is correctly placed and that it is not in contact with hot parts or sharp edges, or wrap-
ped around the appliance, twisted or caught, so that the appliance will not fall. Make sure the cable cannot
make anyone trip, in order to avoid the risk of falling and personal injury. Make sure also that the cable is not
under carpets.
- Make sure the heating element is free from dust, lint and similar: this would improve the heater efficiency
and prevent overheating. Check periodically that the air outlet grill is not blocked by objects, fabrics or other
things so that the appliance won’t overheat or break
