Dimensional survey accuracy requirements
Minimum accuracy requirements are defined for the dimensional survey.
Note
The following accuracy requirements are minimum requirements. Higher accuracy will
provide better results and should therefore always be aimed at.
Transducer

Pitch
:
– TX transducer array: ± 0.05 degrees
– RX transducer array: ± 0.20 degrees

Roll
:
– TX transducer array: ± 0.20 degrees
– RX transducer array: ± 0.02 degrees

Heading
: ± 0.1 degrees
•
Relative heading between RX and TX transducer
: ± 0.1 degrees
Motion Reference Unit (MRU)
Note
These spesifications are minimum requirements. Consult the installation manual for each
sensor for how it is to be aligned and how accurately the location needs to be measured.
