Troubleshooting
If you cannot solve the problem, contact your
dealer.

Solution
The display on the front panel does
not light up.
The mains plug is not inserted into the wall socket.
Insert the mains plug into the wall socket.
No sound or image, but the front
panel shows a red light.
The receiver is in standby mode.
Press the on/standby button.
No sound or image.
The satellite dish is not pointing to the satellite.
Adjust the satellite dish.
Check the signal level in the “Antenna Setup” menu.
There is no signal or only a weak signal.
Check the cable connections.
Make sure that the LNB and other equipment are connected
between the LNB and the receiver.
Adjust the satellite dish.
Bad image / Blocking error.
The satellite dish is not pointing to the satellite.
Adjust the satellite dish.
The signal is too strong.
Connect a signal attenuator to the LNB input.
The satellite dish is too small.
Use a larger satellite dish.
The noise factor of the LNB is too high.
Use an LNB with a lower noise factor.
The LNB is faulty.
Replace the LNB.
The image is not shown when the
device is swicthed on.
The system is connected with RF cables.
Check the UHF channel in the system and tune the UHF
channel correctly.
The system is connected with RF cables and the output
channel of the receiver interferes with an existing terrestrial
channel or a video signal.
Change the output channel of the receiver to a more
suitable channel.
Connect the system with SCART cables.
The remote control does not work.
The battery is low.
Replace the battery.
The remote control is not pointing to the device.
Point the remote control to the device.
Make sure that nothing blocks the front panel.
