6. Partition the external USB2.0 hard disk
6.1 Partition under Windows 98 / ME
Boot-up the computer in Windows 98/ME. Plug in
your USB2.0 Hard Disk Drive.
Step 1:
Click
[Start]
, choose
[Control panel]
in
[Settings]
and double click
[System]
.
Open
[Hard disk]
. A
screen appears as shown below:
Step 2:
You can see the USB2.0 hard Disk you just installed.
Highlight the USB Hard Disk and choose
[Properties]
,
then select
[Settings]
, setting the USB2.0 Hard Disk
to
[Removable]
as shown below:
