2 .4 Operation Flow
The plate inside of the device to be used for the image reading process is described as follows . (The charts below
are shown from the left side of the device .)

Load the cassette .
HINT
• Load the cassette when the Ready Lamp (green) is lit .
Tray opens

The plate is pulled in once the Image processing
controller’s status is confirmed.
HINT
• The Busy Lamp (blue) will blink while the Image processing
controller’s status is being confirmed.
• The Busy Lamp is lit during the image reading process .
Light Collection Unit
Images are read.

Image reading takes place while the plate is fed
to the bottom of the device .
Erase Unit
Images are erased.

Once image reading has completed, the plate is
fed back into the cassette as images are erased .

Once the plate has gone back inside the cas -
sette, the cassette can be removed .
HINT
• When the image reading process ends, the Busy Lamp (blue)
will turn off, and the Ready Lamp (green) will start blinking .
When the cassette is removed, the Ready Lamp will turn on .
