3. Remove the back cover of the FS-503. (5 screws)
(MFP 105ppm series only)
4. Turn OFF DIP SW2.
(MFP 105ppm series only)
Note:
• This procedure is required because by default
it is set for a COLOR MFP 65ppm series.(Fac-
tory default of SW2: ON)
• Do not change other switches.
5. Install the back cover of the FS-503.(5 screws)
(MFP 105ppm series only)
6. Remove the connector cover on the left side of
the LS-501.(1 screw)
7. Install the FS-503 to the LS-501.
(1) Connect the four FS-503 connector jacks to the con-
nector plugs of the LS-501 on the paper exit side.
(2) Align the top and bottom holes of the FS-503
to the Installation plate/1 pins, and lock them
by sliding the FS-503 to the back.
Note:
If the vertical opening between the FS-503 and the
LS-501 is not even and their heights are different,
adjust the height of the four casters of the FS-503
to make the opening even.
