(12) Remove the scanner right cover. (Three

screws)

(13) Open the wire saddle.

(14) Remove the harness from the two edge covers.

(15) Remove the USB unit. (One screw)

(16) Remove the USB cable. (Two screws)

(17) Connect the USB cable removed in step (16) to

the local interface board unit.

(18) Connect the supplied harness to the local inter-

face board unit and fit the harness into the wire
saddle.

Note:

Connect the white connector of the supplied har-
ness to the local interface board unit.
