(10) Touch “END.”
(11) Repeat the steps (1) to (6) to check if the value
of “Avg. Value” falls within the specified range.
(12) Attach the two supplied hinge covers as shown
in the illustration.
(13) Tighten the mounting screw on the right hinge
that has been loosened in step (7) using a
screwdriver.
<Adjusting DF skew (2-side)>
(1) Touch “Skew Measurement.”
(2) Touch “DFSkew(Back).”
(3) Place the chart in the document feeding tray
(Make sure that the blank surface of the chart
faces up).
(4) Press the start key.
The measurement result will be displayed.
(5) Repeat operations from steps (3) to (4) four more
times. (Five times in total)
(6) Check the value of “Avg. Value” on the screen.
Specifications: ±0.5%
Note:
If the value does not fall within the specified range,
perform the following adjustment.
(7) Open the dual scan document feeder and
remove the two screws shown in the illustration.
(8) Close the dual scan document feeder.
(9) Remove the front cover.
(10) Loosen the two screws shown in the illustration.
