(8) Connect the three connectors of the dual scan
document feeder to the main body, and attach
the harness with a cable tie at the position shown
in the illustration.
(9) Route the indicated harness of the dual scan
document feeder through the cable clamp shown
in the illustration.
Note:
• This step may not be performed depending on
the applicable marketing area.
• Only the harness shown in the illustration must
be routed through the clamp.
• Make sure that there is no slack in the harness
between the clamp and the connectors.
(10) Remove the cord clamp if used to secure the
power cord of the main body. (One screw)
(11) Remove the cap.
(12) Remove the lower rear cover. (12 screws)
(13) Remove the two screws shown in the illustra-
tion.
