• A fan motor draws air from the area around the fusing unit to the out-
side to prevent the machine interior temperature from running high. in
addition, the fan motor pulls paper being transported up through suc-
tion force to help stabilize paper transport.
• Ozone produced from the drum charge corona is absorbed by the
ozone filter from the air drawn by a fan motor to the outside.
