A. Paper empty detection

• The Tray1 empty sensor (PS2) detects a paper-empty condition in the drawer.
• When paper runs out, the actuator is raised to unblock the tray1 empty sensor and the 

corresponding message appears on the control panel.

• The press of the start key does not start a copy cycle when no paper is loaded in the 

drawer.
