Starting the TV80 program
The TV80 is a software program, and you start it just like any other computer programs.
You must turn on the display, the Processor Unit, and the sensor receiver(s).
Context
The program is not automatically started when the Processor Unit is turned on.
Double-click the icon on the computer desktop to start the program.
Procedure
1 Turn on the display.
If required, refer to the instructions provided by the display manufacturer.
2 Turn on the computer.
Wait while the operating system loads.
3 On the computer desktop, double-click the TV80 icon to start the program.
If you are using more than one display, you can move the software icon to the
display you prefer to use and the TV80 will start on that screen.
4 Select user settings.
During the program load, a dialog box appears to let you choose from the current
user settings available on the TV80. The dialog box is only visible a few seconds.
You do not need to make a choice here. You can select your predefined user setting
at any time by means of the
User Settings
dialog box on the
Main
menu.
5 Once the program has started, observe that the display presentation fills the entire
screen.
The program starts up using the same settings as the last time you used it. If these
settings are acceptable, continue operation. If you wish to alter any of the settings,
see the relevant procedures.
