Turning off the TV80 system
The TV80 is a software program, and you should close it when you finish your session.
You may also want to turn off the Processor Unit and the display. If you know that
you will not use the TV80 for a long time, we recommend that you also switch of the
receiver unit(s).
Context
You must never turn off the TV80 system by means of the on/off switch on the computer.
You must always close the TV80 program by selecting
Exit
on the top bar.
Procedure
1 Select
Exit
on the top bar.
Alternatively, you can use the combination
Alt+F4
in your keyboard
to close the program.
Observe that the TV80 program closes down. You will not be asked for
confirmation.
2 If the Processor Unit does not turn itself off automatically, use the functionality
provided by the operating system to turn it off manually.
3 Turn off the display.
If required, refer to the instructions provided by the display manufacturer.
4 If relevant, power off each sensor receiver.
The sensor receiver is normally not fitted with an on/off switch. To power down,
you must disconnect the power cable.
