In order to communicate with peripheral devices, the computer offers several serial
and/or Ethernet (LAN) ports. The number of communication ports depends on
how your computer is set up and configured. The
I/O Setup
settings allow you to
define which information is imported by the computer. For each port, you can set
up the communication parameters, and monitor the data flow.

Gear Setup
The

dialog box allows you to add a different gear or editing an existing
one. You can select a new gear choosing one from the options provided.

Add New Sensor
The

dialog box starts a "wizard" that permits you to select the
specific catch monitoring sensor you want to put to use.

Depending on the sensor you want to use, you may need to choose a different
interface adapter. In the

dialog box you can add a new Ethernet
connection and select the device you want your TV80 system to interface. Select

The

dialog box allows you to correct or balance some known deviations when
measuring depth and/or height.

Alarm Limits
The
Alarm Limits
dialog box allows you to define alarms related to the information
provided by the relevant catch monitoring sensors. Each sensor function has an
individual alarm setting.

Spectrum
The TV80 offers a spectrum analyser that shows the signals from each hydrophone.
The
Spectrum
dialog box presents an overview of the current hydro-acoustical
conditions.
