I/O Setup page
In order to communicate with peripheral devices, the computer offers several serial
and/or Ethernet (LAN) ports. The
I/O Setup
page shows the links between the TV80
and external sensors and devices. For each port, you can set up the communication
parameters, and monitor the data flow. The contents of this page may vary according
to the type of license installed.
How to open
To open the page, select
Installation
on the
Setup
menu.
Description
The TV80 software automatically scans the computer
to locate and identify the available communication
ports. Once the software has established a list of
valid interfaces, you can set up and control the
communication parameters.
The
I/O Setup
page shows the Serial and Ethernet
interfaces. Every interface is presented as a small
"block diagram".

Offsets dialog box
The
Offsets
dialog box allows you to correct or balance some known deviations when
measuring depth and/or height.
How to open
This dialog box is opened from the
Setup
menu.
