Description
You can manually enter an offset value. The offset value must be based on the physical
locations of the sensors and the properties of the gear. You can enter an offset for every
measurement and location of sensor on the trawl.
If you want to know the height from the door to the seafloor, you must enter the offset
value to compensate the distance between where the sensor is placed on the door and
the bottom of the door itself. The distance between the door adapter and the bottom
of the door is the relevant offset.
When measuring depth by the depth lid of a sensor, there will always be a deviation in
readings of a approxi/- 1 or 2 m.
The offset value you set up here will also be available in the sensor’s relevant
configuration dialog box, and vice versa.
