METHOD FOR CHECKING AIR CONDITIONER COMPRESSOR BELT
1.
Open cover (1).
2.
Open the engine food and remove guard (2).
3.
Press the centre between crankshaft pulley (A) and com-
pressor pulley (B) with a finger (approximately 58.8 N
{6.0 kg} ).
If deflection (C) is 14 to 16 mm, the belt tension is normal.
If the deflection is out of the standard, adjust it to the
standard value.
METHOD FOR ADJUSTING AIR CONDITIONER COMPRESSOR BELT
1.
Loosen bolt (3) and nut (4).
2.
Rotate nut (5) clockwise to move compressor (6).
3.
Press the centre between crankshaft pulley (A) and com-
pressor pulley (B) with a finger (approximately 58.8 N
{6.0 kg} ).
If deflection (C) is 14 to 16 mm, the belt tension is the
standard.
If the deflection is out of the standard, adjust it to the
standard value by repeating steps 2 and 3.
4.
When the position of the compressor is determined, tight-
en nut (4) and bolt (3),and hold it in position.
