4.8.12.f CHECKING THE A/C COOLING GAS QUANTITY 

(only for machines with air conditioner)

WARNING

q

The coolant used in the air conditioning system is very dangerous. If it is sprayed into the eyes or in
case of contact with the skin, it may cause blindness or frostbite. To avoid any explosion, do not gener-
ate sparks and do not use naked flames near the air conditioner.

q

Oils, filters, the coolant and the battery are considered special waste and must be collected and dis-
posed of according to the regulations in force.

q

Maintenance on the air conditioning system must be carried out exclusively by specialized personnel.

Specific equipment is required to check the coolant; have this maintenance operation carried out only by special-
ized personnel and for this purpose contact your Komatsu Dealer.
