Thread the locknuts half way down the valve bodies.

Slide the fibre washers over the valve bodies.
6.
Insert the valve bodies into the mounting holes from the bottom of the
basin. Make sure that the valve body marked ‘COLD’ is installed in the
right hand hole (as viewed from the front of the basin).
7.
Apply a ring of sealant to the underside of the concealing plate in
accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
8.
Thread the concealing plate onto the valve body.
