Check that the gear teeth are intact and that clearance between gear 

edge and pump body does not exceed 0.15 mm. 

Furthermore check that the control shaft is free to rotate with end float 

not exceeding 0.15 mm. 

Oil pump delivery at 3000 r.p.m. is 9 liters/min.
